water in moon





Indian satellite chandrayana-1 found water on the surface of the moon using NASA small satellite moon mineralogy mapper . Madavan nayer said more secretes found about moon and our scantest s are analyzing results. NASA said that water is in very less quantity doing research on that.

ISRO launched 7 satellites in 20 minutes


India successfully launched its 16th remote-sensing satellite Oceansat-2 and six nano European The Ocean Monitoring Satellite Oceansat-2 is seen 18 minutes Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV- C-14) from Sriharikota
The 44.4-metre tall, 230-tonne Indian rocket Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) freed itself from the launch pad at the spaceport and lifted itself up, lugging the 960-kg Oceansat-2 and the six nano satellites all together weighing 20 kg.

six nano satellites, four are from Germany, one is from Switzerland and one from Turkey. The seventh is a big one, India's Oceansat-2 weighing 960 kg.

President Pratibha Patil and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh congratulated the ISRO team for successful launch of Oceansat-2 satellite, saying this would herald a new beginning in understanding of the oceans.
This will be PSLV's 16th mission. From September 1993 to April 2009, PSLV has been launched 15 times. Fourteen launches have been successful continuously while only one has failed so far.
